I’ve prepared a limited-edition version of the ROXA-T1000 featuring a rosewood back plate: the ROXA-T1000 Rosewood Edition.
The standard ROXA-T1000 uses a full titanium-alloy housing, while this special edition replaces only the back plate of the rear housing with rosewood.

ROXA-T1000 + Rosewood
ROXA-T1000 is characterized by the sharpness, speed, and clear definition that come from its titanium-alloy housing.
Except for the wooden back plate, the Rosewood Edition shares the same driver, internal structure, titanium-alloy housing, and semi-open design as the standard ROXA-T1000.
For that reason, this is not a model with a dramatically different sound.
However, when compared side by side, the highly refined speed and sense of tension of the full-titanium version are softened ever so slightly, giving the Rosewood Edition a subtly milder character.
It retains the crispness and speed of titanium, while gently rounding off the edges.
Rather than thinking of it as “a T1000 with a different sound,” I think it is more accurate to describe it as:
“A limited edition that adds the subtle character of rosewood to the ROXA-T1000.”
Rosewood Back Plate
The only wood used for this edition is rosewood. More precisely, it is a wood known in Japan as “Hon-shitan.”
The back plates are laser-cut, and unlike standard 634EARS wooden models, the wood option cannot be selected for this edition.
Limited to 15 Units
The ROXA-T1000 Rosewood Edition will be limited to just 15 units. Sales will end once all 15 units have been reserved.
For those who already own a ROXA-T1000, the difference in sound is not significant enough for me to strongly recommend replacing your current pair.
