This is a remade version of a pre-owned LOAK-PROTOTYPE01 that was traded in. It has been disassembled once, and the wood parts have been newly carved and replaced. Only the front housing, body, and cable have been reused.
The LOAK-PROTOTYPE01 served as the foundation for the current flagship model, the LOAK2-TX01. While the driver and most of the tuning are almost the same as the TX01, the body’s 3D print material is different. This model’s body is slightly harder (less flexible) than the standard titanium.
The sound is nearly identical to the TX01, but the PROTOTYPE01 has a slightly cleaner and sharper sound with a bit more spatial width. For this model, we have used Snakewood, which we highly recommend. The sound is nearly the same as the top model, but since this is a remade unit, the price is about half of the original.
As the PROTOTYPE01 rarely comes in as a trade-in, this is a great opportunity for those who have been eyeing the LOAK2-TX01. This is a one-of-a-kind unit, so don’t miss out!
