This is the LOAK2-Ti version of the LOAK2-TX04 (Brass), which was released a while ago. It comes in two variations: gold-colored brass and black brass(colored using traditional techniques by Momentum Factory Orii). The black brass appears almost entirely black, but upon closer inspection, you can see mottled patterns.
The sound of the LOAK2-BTB is tuned the same as the previously made LOAK2-TX04, which had a 3D-printed body. However, this time, the LOAK2-BTB is crafted from machined titanium rather than 3D-printed material. As a result, its sound is tighter compared to the TX04. While the bass is still quite powerful like the TX04, it feels more controlled and less bloated. This gives the LOAK2-BTB a surprisingly well-balanced sound profile without leaning excessively towards the bass.
The BTB delivers a thick, impactful sound, but vocals do not come as forward as in titanium nozzle models like the TX01 or TX02. Overall, the sound is soft and smooth. Although the bass is slightly tighter and less abundant than the TX04, it remains strong, which results in relatively mild treble.
As with other brass models, careful handling is required. When not in use, the eartips should be removed. One of these models is coated with a colored finish on the brass, making it more resistant to rust than regular brass. However, leaving the eartips attached may still lead to rusting, so caution is advised.
Only one unit of each variation has been produced.
