This is the MIROAK-II made with Granadillo wood. It features a unique blend of reddish-brown heartwood and whitish sapwood. The sapwood is slightly softer than the heartwood. According to the 634EARS wood chart, both the hardness and density of this wood are medium.
Compared to the standard Rosewood MIROAK-II, the sound has a slightly more analog, textured quality. The sound is thick, but the definition isn’t as pronounced. The bass is full and has a solid volume.
Granadillo is frequently used at 634EARS, but it’s rare to find a piece where the heartwood and sapwood are mixed half-and-half like this. That’s why we decided to offer this earphone as a limited stock item.
