In response to several requests following the last “IN STOCK NOW” release of the LOAK2-SS(CL), I’ve created new versions with brass and copper backplates. Both were made using recycled backplates from trade-in earphones.
The brass and copper backplates are finished using a traditional Japanese coloring technique by Momentum Factory Orii.
These metal backplates are shaped with an inward concave on the inside. A high-rebound material (the black piece in the photo) is placed inside, which strongly pushes back the air within the rear chamber. This structure contributes to producing a powerful, voluminous low-end.
The driver tuning is the same as in the LOAK2-TX01 and Ti(CL)01 models, but due to the stainless steel housing and the unique backplate structure, the bass is significantly stronger. It might be the most powerful bass among all LOAK2 models.
These earphones are highly recommended for those who want bold, impactful sound with deep thickness. Only one unit of each will be available.
