These are remade earphones using parts from trade-in models. Some parts of the housings from older models such as MEIZ, RAIV, and JAIB have been reused. The drivers are the same as those used in LOAK (not LOAK2).
Currently, all of the models at 634EARS have earphones designed to be worn over the ear. However, there has been a steady demand from customers who prefer the older, simple cylindrical type. While the current models do not adopt this cylindrical design to better control the vibration of dynamic drivers, we have created a limited number of remade versions this time.
The sound is tuned with the same driver and tuning as LOAK. The Rev1, with a stainless steel front housing, has a sharp, clear sound with excellent clarity. On the other hand, Rev2, which uses brass, offers a thicker, more powerful sound with a slightly lower center of gravity.
Since these are cylindrical earphones, they are not designed to be held in place by the ear but rather by the eartips. The brass Rev2, in particular, is quite heavy, so it might be better to wear the cable over the ear for a more secure fit.
