This is the LOAK-PROTOTYPE 02 (LP02) made with African Blackwood. It’s an extremely hard and dense wood. The color is jet black, but you may occasionally see a slight brown grain.
The sound has a distinct edge. While the LP02 generally produces a thick and rich sound, the model made with African Blackwood has a lower sound center of gravity, meaning it shifts slightly towards the mid-low frequencies. I believe this wood is suitable for those seeking a solid and powerful sound.
