Bocote is a wood with a slightly yellowish brown and black stripe pattern.
The wood has a high specific gravity, but the texture is moist and very oily. In spite of this, the surface has a matte-like texture.
The sound is powerful with a strong bass, but the edges are rounded and soft, so the sound is not as harsh as it could be.
The tone is a little dark and calm.
The LOAK-S has a strong stainless steel sound to begin with, so the Bocote is a good match for it, making the most of its bass and other features while also making it a little milder.
