LOAK2-Ti(OP) Enju wood

LOAK2-Ti(OP) Enju wood

Front : Titanium
Body : Titanium
Rear : Wood(Enju wood)

This is the LOAK2-Ti(OP) made with Enju wood. This wood is sourced from Hokkaido, and while its hardness and density are moderate among the woods handled by 634EARS, this particular piece seems to have a relatively low density. From a processing perspective, it feels like a wood where “hardness > density.”

The Ti(OP) produces a sound that’s thick and powerful, similar to the TX02. However, with this Enju wood, the Ti(OP) has a comparatively clean sound. It feels light, with a crisp, bright quality in the mid-to-high range. The bass has a slightly bouncy, resilient character, giving a distinct contour and speed to the low frequencies. The sound’s attack is quick, and it dissipates quickly as well.

Incidentally, the Ti(OP) and TX02 have quite similar sound profiles, but the TX02 offers a more resonant, spacious feel, with clearer contours to the sound. The Ti(OP), on the other hand, has a closer, more orthodox dynamic sound.
