LOAK2-TX01 Snakewood

Body : Titanium(3D Printing)

This is the LOAK2-TX01 using Snakewood. Known for its distinctive snake-like pattern, it’s an exceptionally hard and dry wood—one of the hardest among the woods handled by 634EARS. In the 634EARS wood chart, it is classified as a “hardness > density” wood. It’s also a very rare and expensive wood, with finely patterned pieces becoming increasingly hard to obtain.
The TX01 is the most solid-sounding model in the TX series, but using Snakewood takes the clarity even further, producing a more refined and sharpened sound. While the TX01’s sound is not as slim as that of the TX03 or the previous LOAK-T, with Snakewood, the sound is relatively smart and tight. It’s fast, crisp, and the bass is tight with a strong attack.
I personally chose Snakewood for my own TX01. In terms of wood that brings out the character of this model, I believe Snakewood may be the best choice.
Additionally, the sound is quite similar to the LOAK2-Ti(CL), though I find that the TX01 offers a wider soundstage and a faster response. The TX01 also has more resonance, which makes it a bit more characterful. If you prefer a more traditional sound, the Ti(CL) may be a better choice.
