LOAK2-TX02 Japanese black persimmon
Front : Titanium
Body : Titanium (3D Printing)
Rear : Wood (Japanese black persimmon)
This is the LOAK2-TX02 made with Kurogaki (Japanese Persimmon Wood). In terms of hardness and density, it falls into the mid-range among the woods handled by 634EARS. It has a moderate softness and is quite flexible. The appearance of this wood varies greatly, with some pieces having more black areas while others have more light brown. This particular piece has a light brown base with black grain patterns, making it a unique wood.
The sound characteristic of this wood is defined by its softness. It pairs exceptionally well with the thick sound profile of the TX02, resulting in very rich mid and low tones. The sound leans significantly toward warmth, with an overall softness and a lack of sharp edges, making it mild.
If you’re seeking resolution or sharpness, this wood might not be the best choice. However, if you’re after a warm, pleasant sound with an analog feel, this wood is an excellent option. After listening to the completed earphones, I found the warm resonance to be incredibly satisfying, and it’s personally one of my favorites.
