This is the LOAK2-TX02 using Lignum Vitae wood. Known as the heaviest wood in the world, Lignum Vitae has a slightly greenish-brown hue, is rich in natural oils, and has a glossy surface.
In open-back models, the influence of the wood is generally less than in closed-back designs, but the TX02 with Lignum Vitae still delivers notably heavy low-end.
Among the TX series, TX02 is personally my favorite. The sound is thick and analog-like, with rich mid-to-low frequency resonance that creates a deeply atmospheric tone. It also offers excellent body and power in the sound.
