LOAK2-TX02(Zebra wood, African padauk)

LOAK2-TX02 (Zebra wood, African padauk)

Front : Titanium
Body : Titanium(3D Printing)
Rear : Wood(Zebra wood, African padauk)

This is the LOAK-TX02 made with Zebrawood and African Padauk. Zebrawood is characterized by its striped pattern, while African Padauk is a reddish-brown wood. Both are medium in hardness and density among the woods handled by 634EARS, and they are among the few woods where ‘hardness > density.’

Woods that have ‘hardness > density’ on the 634EARS wood chart commonly produce a clear, light, and slim sound. The bass tends to be tight, and overall, the sound is clean and open.

The TX02 typically features a thick, powerful, dynamic sound, but with these two woods, the impression is of a relatively lighter sound compared to more standard woods like Rosewood. Additionally, the clarity provides a sense of spaciousness. The sound of the TX02 made with Zebrawood and African Padauk is almost the same, but the African Padauk feels slightly warmer than the Zebrawood.

If you like the clear sound of the TX01 but want something with a little more thickness and dynamism, I think the TX02, which uses zebrawood and African paduk, is a good choice.
