LOAK2-TX03 Japanese Cherry Birch

This is the LOAK2-TX03 using Japanese Cherry Birch as the wood. Although it includes “cherry” in the name, it actually belongs to the birch family. The appearance is a light brown, and its hardness is moderate, leaning slightly toward being heavier and harder.
The TX03 is known for its delicate and gentle sound, but this Japanese Cherry Birch model has a surprisingly robust low end. The sound leans warm, with rounded edges, creating an overall mild and soft tone. The low frequencies have a texture similar to that of Chucket biga wood, with a slight, resilient bounce. Rather than a light, airy bounce, it has a somewhat soft, flexible springiness. The resonance is rich and soft, with a warm echo that creates a very atmospheric sound.
While its tonal qualities are similar to mahogany, Japanese Cherry Birch has unique characteristics that make it an excellent choice. I believe this wood pairs well not only with the TX03 but also with the TX02 and MIROAK-II models.
