MIROAK-II African Padauk.
Front : Stainless Steel
Body : ABS resin
Rear : Wood(African Padauk)
MIROAK-II made with African Padauk for the wooden parts. This wood is characterized by its bright reddish-brown color. In terms of density and hardness, it’s on the lower-to-mid range among the woods handled by 634EARS. It’s one of the few woods on the 634EARS wood chart where “hardness > density.”
The sound is bright and light. The bass is standard, but the overall tonal balance leans slightly higher. The mid-to-high range stands out, giving the impression of a vivid and slightly flashy tone.
When compared to the next post’s MIROAK-II Bocote, you can clearly notice the difference in the tonal balance. The African Padauk has a lighter, more airy sound, while the Bocote has a lower tonal focus.
