This is a MIROAK-II featuring a copper rear component. The copper has been treated with a traditional coloring technique by Momentum Factory Orii, known as Copper Red, which creates a unique finish resembling aged copper with intricate patterns of mixed blue and red hues. The design is strikingly beautiful. Unlike the Copper Blue variant, this Copper Red plate has a relatively flat surface finish with minimal texture.
Compared to wooden backplates, the MIROAK-II with a copper backplate delivers stronger attack and more pronounced mid-lows. Copper provides a sense of firmness and a solid core to the sound, contrasting with the softer characteristics of wood. Thanks to the moderately flexible resin housing of the MIROAK-II, the metallic backplate pairs well acoustically, resulting in excellent synergy.
