It\u2019s a dense wood with a high oil content. The Cocobolo used here has a bright reddish-brown color, though it can sometimes be a darker shade of brown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite being a hard wood, the high oil content gives it greater flexibility and density than its hardness would suggest, resulting in solid low frequencies. The sound is somewhat warm.
