Desert Ironwood is bog wood from the desert, known for being extremely hard and dry. Among the woods handled by 634EARS, it ranks as one of the hardest. Wood with beautiful grain patterns is rare, and this particular piece has distinct black grain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The TX01 made with this wood has a thin, tight sound overall, but it doesn\u2019t feel as solid as Snakewood. It has clear contours and a bright tone, which pairs well with the characteristics of the TX01.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The TX01 has a sharper, tighter sound compared to the TX02 or TX03, so the choice of wood greatly affects whether you want to soften this sharpness or emphasize it.
