Softer woods tend to produce a warmer and milder sound. However, harder materials are also more prone to producing sharp high frequencies, while softer ones may make the sound contours a bit more rounded or &#8220;soft-focused.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the four wood types, Ching-chan, Purpleheart, and Itaya Maple all have clearer contours compared to Honduran Mahogany, which offers a warmer, slightly softer tone. Itaya Maple produces a gentler sound than Ching-chan and Purpleheart, and its sound is lighter and slimmer than Honduran Mahogany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stainless Steel is unique among the five.
