ROXA-S100 – A New Housing Design

New Housing Design — Rebuilt from the Ground Up

With the ROXA-S100, I completely redesigned the housing from scratch.
The new shape provides a secure hold around both the front and back of the ear, greatly improving stability during wear. This design helps to reduce unwanted vibrations, minimize sound blur, and deliver a clearer, more stable sonic image.

Unlike the previous MIROAK-II or LOAK2 models, the ROXA-S100 fits naturally as if wrapping around the ear (see images below).
This new structure effectively controls even the slightest driver vibrations, enhancing sound rise, accuracy, and imaging precision.

Vibration Control and Its Impact on Sound

Have you ever noticed that when you lightly hold an earphone with your fingers, the sound suddenly feels clearer and more defined?
That’s because the unnecessary vibrations of the driver and housing are being suppressed.
No matter how carefully tuned a dynamic driver is, if vibration control is neglected, the true potential of the sound is lost.

With the ROXA-S100, I re-evaluated this aspect from the design stage, implementing a structure that minimizes vibration and enables a more accurate, stable reproduction of sound.

Refined Cable Angle — Better Fit and Sleeker Design

The cable exit angle and position have also been completely redesigned.
In previous models such as MIROAK-II and LOAK2, the cables tended to point outward from the ear.
In the ROXA-S100, the cables now follow the natural contour of the ear (see images below), allowing for a more comfortable and secure fit.
This not only improves the look of the earphones but also enhances their stability during wear.

Wood Back Plate and Structural Enhancements

The wooden back plate has also been re-engineered.
Its thickness has been reduced by half, and its diameter made slightly smaller to achieve a lighter overall weight.
Additionally, the air port that regulates airflow behind the dynamic driver has been moved to the wood section.
By utilizing the natural internal damping and sound absorption properties of wood, this design maintains a closed structure while delivering open, well-controlled low frequencies without a sense of pressure or congestion.

The ROXA-S100 offers a new level of comfort, sound, and resonance that is distinct from MIROAK-II and LOAK2.
It provides a more natural, fatigue-free listening experience with clear definition and balance across all frequencies.
