This is the LOAK2-TX01 made with Box Elder Maple. It is a type of soft maple with unique red coloring. Since it is a soft wood, it has been reinforced with a wood hardener. As a result, although it is originally very soft, the reinforcement increases its hardness and density to a reasonable level.
The TX01 using this Box Elder Maple has slightly rounded edges, but I feel it produces a light, clear sound. The mid and low ranges remain tight without excessive bloom.
Box Elder Maple can be a difficult wood to work with, as cutting into it often reveals hollow sections or areas that are extremely soft and unusable. However, its distinctive red coloring is highly unique. This was quite a challenging order to fulfill.
