This is the MIROAK-II crafted from African Blackwood, also known as Grenadilla. While it’s entirely black in appearance, it can sometimes exhibit a slight brownish tint when illuminated. It’s a dense and hard wood.
In terms of sound, it offers a clear contrast and strength. The sound is quite similar to the dry Cocobolo wood, and the differences are barely discernible when compared. However, this one leans slightly towards a cooler and sharper impression.
