LOAK-PROTOTYPE 01 (LP01) is crafted using Cocobolo wood. The deep reddish-brown hue of Cocobolo complements the gray titanium chassis quite well.
LP01 with Cocobolo exhibits a distinct outline and a rich sound. The bass is moderately full, with a hint of warmth in the overall tone. I believe Cocobolo is a solid choice for this model.
If you wish to brighten the tonal character a bit and add some lightness, I recommend woods like Padauk, which have slightly lower density than Cocobolo. For those seeking a sleeker and crisper sound, harder woods such as Snake Wood or Ching-Chan are recommended.
