This MIROAK-II features metal rear components. Silver represents stainless steel, green represents brass, and blue represents copper. All are processed through machining, while the green and blue versions undergo coloring using the traditional technique of Momentum Factory Orii.
Due to the flexible and resilient nature of the ABS resin used in the body, allowing the diaphragm to move extensively. However, by incorporating metal in the rear components, the rebound of air pressure within the rear enclosure is stronger compared to wood, resulting in a tighter movement of the diaphragm.
This imparts a slightly more dynamic and tight sound with quick transient response. As MIROAK-II already leans towards a mild sound signature, using metal for the rear components is suitable for those who desire a slightly harder sound or crave more impact compared to wood.
